The Tuol Sleng Museum, or S-21, formerly known as Security Prison 21 under the Khmer Rouge regime, is a former torture center. I recommend that anyone interested in the history of Cambodia try to go there. However, I definitely do not recommend that sensitive people or children venture there. Throughout the visit, photos of the faces of the genocide victims are on display, along with frank and realistic paintings that do not hide the horror of this tragedy, and a film is shown. The floors are stained, and in every room you can see the beds where men and women were tied up, and the chains and bars are still present.
