Hôtel
Contemporary design and a panoramic rooftop on Oranienburger Straße, in the lively heart of Mitte.
Located on Oranienburger Straße, right in the heart of the Mitte district, this 4-star hotel leans heavily into a bold, contemporary design. You are positioned in a high-energy neighborhood filled with trendy bars, art galleries, and the historic facades of the Scheunenviertel (Barn Quarter), all just a short walk from the Spree river. The vibe here is tailored for a fast-paced city break rather than a quiet family getaway.
The Location
The address is a major selling point. The Oranienburger Straße S-Bahn station is just a few minutes away on foot, and the area is packed with restaurants, cafes, and nightlife. Plan on about a 20-minute walk to reach the Museum Island or the historic city center.
The trade-off is that the neighborhood is lively and can get noisy at night, especially in rooms facing the street. Keep this in mind if you are a light sleeper.
Rooms and Comfort
The aesthetic is resolutely modern, featuring designer furniture and a moody, sophisticated atmosphere that leans into dark tones and velvet accents, playing off the property's name. The rooms are functional and clearly designed with urban travelers and business guests in mind.
Services and Perks
The hotel typically offers a bar and a breakfast area, both great for fueling up before you head out to explore Berlin. The staff is accustomed to an international crowd, which is a significant help if you do not speak German.

Really a great place to stay for visiting the city. Lots of public transport options pass right by, and the location is central. Even on foot, you can see quite a bit in the surrounding area.
As for the price, I think you can find cheaper options in Berlin pretty easily. That said, the quality is there, so if you have the budget, go for it.
