#1 Pont du Gard (Vers-Pont-du-Gard)
As the tallest Roman aqueduct bridge in existence, the Pont du Gard was built in the 1st century near Vers-Pont-du-Gard. Spanning 902 feet across the Gardon river at a height of 115 feet, it supplied water to Nîmes for decades. This UNESCO World Heritage site now features a museum and family activities.
