This monumental instrument, composed of more than 5,000 pipes, is renowned for its sonic power and acoustic precision. Climbing to the top: an unobstructed view of Reykjavik
By taking the elevator to the top of the church tower, you will enjoy a spectacular 360-degree panoramic view of Reykjavik. Hallgrímskirkja is probably the most impressive church I have seen in Iceland. Its facade gives it an almost futuristic style. I prefer the Gothic style, but I have to say that this is still absolutely beautiful. By going up to the top of the tower, you discover an incredible view of the colorful rooftops of Reykjavík and the ocean in the distance. If you are visiting the country, it is a must-see!
