Stay in a 1920s New England mansion
This 4-star property underwent a complete renovation in 2016 while maintaining its identity, which is rooted in the theme of nautical leisure and 1920s New England mansions from the northeastern United States. Facing the southern shore of Lake Disney, it sits a 15-minute walk from the theme parks. You can even access the parks early in the morning, before they open to the public, during the Extra Magic Time. Other perks for guests of this Disneyland Paris Resort hotel include the relaxation and wellness area, featuring a heated pool, the Nantucket Pool, which consists of both an outdoor and indoor section, a fitness room with machines, a sauna, and a steam room.
3 room categories inspired by Steamboat Willie
The standard rooms, known as superior rooms, can accommodate up to 5 guests (2 double beds and a sofa bed), while those in the Compass Club and the suites can host up to 6 occupants (2 double beds and 2 sofa beds). Beyond full amenities, the room decor references one of the very first films from the Disney studio, Steamboat Willie, released in 1928, as well as Mickey and Minnie. Purists will recognize and appreciate the small nods to the cinematic work. Accommodations located on the lake side are available for an additional fee.
Mediterranean dishes and seafood on the restaurant menus
The Cape Cod restaurant offers breakfast and meal buffets, and the Yacht Club offers à la carte dishes. The menus draw their recipes from Mediterranean dishes, New England fare, and of course, the sea (fish and seafood). To relax with a cocktail, or hot and cold drinks, head to the Captain's Quarter bar, with decor borrowed from the world of regattas and large yachts.

Seaside vibes guaranteed at this huge, very cozy hotel. Mickey isn't far, but he knows how to be pretty low-key. The rooms are comfortable and relatively large; they offer standard amenities (paid upgrades are possible). The lake view (an optional add-on) is a real plus. The hotel is pretty well located for walking to the parks along Lake Disney, and free shuttles are available. The services offered by the hotel, like the pool (very nice in the summer) or the gym, make it possible to get away from the hustle and bustle of the theme parks for a bit. Professional lounges and events are sometimes held there. Too expensive today (like all Disney hotels) for regular stays, but it can be worth it for a first-time visit!
