I am Italian, but I spent nine months of my life in Madrid, and from the moment I moved there, I was surprised by how welcoming the Madrileños were. Plus, Madrid is made up of a diverse mix of people from all over Spain and a large community of Latin American immigrants who have adapted well to Spanish culture.
