Relaxing and festive break
If you love to party
Pattaya is a city very well known in Thailand for its party vibe.
The Walking Street comes alive by late afternoon and the atmosphere doesn't stop until the early morning.
Ideal if you want to party with your friends, lots of bars and nightclubs, but unfortunately a lot of prostitution too.
Nothing special to visit except for the small island across the way, Koh Larn, which could be beautiful if it weren't so polluted.
In short, if you want to sip cocktails on the beach during the day and then hit the bars at night, it's an ideal city! ;)
On the other hand, if you want to visit the deep reaches of Thailand without seeing a single tourist within a kilometer, no need to stop here.

It would be a shame to come all the way to Thailand and only stay in Pattaya. Because, let’s be honest, don’t count on discovering real life and true Thai culture in this seaside resort.
That said, let’s not be negative. At the end of a tour or a trip through the different regions of the country, why not treat yourself to a few days and nights of relaxation in Pattaya before heading home?
