Home of the most decorated club in Germany, and one of the most successful in Europe. I agree with Bill's review, the exterior doesn't look that great during the day. It is better in the evening with the lighting. Inside, however, the stands are well-designed, close to the pitch, steep, and imposing. They do light shows that act as a performance. Plus, the atmosphere is cool. I think that on the scale of Germany, Munich is like the southerners, they are the "crazy ones" of the country :)

Not a huge soccer fan, but an experience you have to live. I absolutely do not regret taking the opportunity to see a Bundesliga match in this stadium. The atmosphere in the stands, the dizzying and spectacular view are incredible. You almost forget to watch the game on the pitch. Honestly, I don't even remember the score :)

I let myself get talked into this adventure without many expectations, just to go along with my boyfriend. Honestly, it was a great atmosphere and super impressive to see, hear, and feel. I definitely don't regret it, and on top of that, the tickets are much cheaper than at other stadiums.

Honestly, the Schalke 04 club and its stadium are far from being the most well-known, and I was not expecting much when I went to see a Bundesliga match there. Well, it was a huge surprise. The atmosphere was intense, loud but friendly, and the stadium is super cool with impressive dimensions and shapes (there is even a retractable roof). Very pleasant surprise!

The unique thing about the Dortmund stadium is its kops, which are massive, solid walls of stands behind the goals with standing room (for league games, though they turn into seats for European cup matches). The kops create an insane atmosphere during the game. Before every match, but especially before the big ones, they put on huge, spectacular tifos. You have to see it!

The Bayern stadium, an institution in Bavaria and Germany, is located on the outskirts of the city, but it is easily accessible by tram. I admit I was disappointed by its exterior appearance. The outer shell makes you think of a plastic tarp covering scaffolding. It looks cheap, at least during the day. For an entrance fee, you can visit the inside of the stadium, and that is a whole different story. The 70,000 seats lined up in these massive stands will impress you. The translucent roof is well done. It must be really cool to attend a match there with the good-natured atmosphere of German stadiums.
