During my visit to Chapultepec Castle, I was really surprised by the beauty of the place. The views of Mexico City from the balconies are simply breathtaking, and the gardens offer a calm escape in the middle of the urban hustle and bustle. I especially liked the murals and the historical objects, which tell the history of the country with such force and emotion. After the visit, do not hesitate to walk around the surrounding gardens. It is a peaceful and very pleasant moment.

A very unique place in Mexico City, a colonial-era castle built on a hill surrounded by a lush green garden, where a calming atmosphere reigns, and it feels so good! There are pretty views of the city from the castle terrace, and you can visit part of its interior. It is interesting, and you learn quite a bit about Mexican history, including the fact that the country was administered by France for a few years!

With its 63 meter high dome, the Monument to the Revolution is everywhere you look on the Plaza de la Republica. It commemorates the Revolution of 1917 and its main heroes, like Pancho Villa or Emiliano Zapata, just to name the most famous ones. Pretty colors at sunset.

Unless you like photographing every single Palacio Municipal in every city in Mexico and making a collection out of them, the one in Mexico City doesn't have much of an interest, other than the fact that it closes off the south side of the Zócalo.

Attached to the Metropolitan Cathedral, the El Sagrario church has two pretty, almost identical facades on the south and east sides. Just like the cathedral, it is well lit and looks great in the evening.
