For a cathedral, you would expect something bigger. Honestly, it is actually quite small. Therefore, it is not worth the trip on its own. Only if you happen to be curious while walking around town. Plus, the interior is very simple. You can find some nice art objects and gilding, but that is about it.

A place that really highlights its old stone! If you like simple and minimalist religious buildings, then this one is for you. I wasn't exactly blown away, but I was moved by the history that comes through. You can really admire the vaulted ceiling and check out the monumental columns. On the other hand, the many art objects were a nice surprise!

This cathedral, which looks more like a small church, has a pretty clay-colored pediment and an old wooden door. Otherwise, the monument isn't anything remarkable. The interior is very dark and not a must-see if you are short on time. There is not much to see aside from a few sculptures and an altarpiece. You can stop by quickly after visiting the market or the Picasso museum, which are located right next door.

A beautiful building. Nothing ostentatious inside, but a beauty that encourages calm and reflection. The organ is considered one of the treasures of this church and it really deserves its reputation. You can visit the cloister for a very low price (and it is free for quite a few people as well). And I really recommend it! I was surprised by the animal paintings on the ceiling. I had never seen anything like that!

I was impressed by its architecture perched up high with that golden statue on top. The style is more understated than the Palais des Papes. However, the artistic side is very present, especially through frescoes and superb decor. A place rich in history! The little extra: the gardens, very charming!

Located in the city center and easily accessible, it remains a must-see for your stay in Arles.

Like many monuments of this type, it is often closed (you can only visit it during Heritage Days). That said, the facade is beautiful and its presence brings a certain charm to the historic center of Menton. I would really like to see the inside one day, as it looks very beautiful in the Baroque style!

The church really lives up to its name! You can see a stunning painting of Archangel Saint Michael on the ceiling. It is so nice to see heritage that is this well preserved and maintained. I think it is safe to say it is one of the most beautiful in the region. It overlooks the port, and there are quite a few little streets to explore nearby! The whole thing makes for a truly authentic atmosphere.

If you love Gothic architecture, do not walk on by! No Baroque gold here, just the beauty of the pointed arches and columns. All of it with magnificent, very colorful stained glass windows. I appreciated the simplicity of the place, which really lends itself to quiet contemplation. A monumental piece of architecture that you definitely won't miss while walking around the city center!
