The visit is truly fabulous. Whether it is the palace or the gardens, everything is absolutely magnificent. You can easily spend a good two hours there without any problem. If you are passing through Seville, it is in my opinion an unmissable visit! Plus, if you have watched Game of Thrones, you will recognize some filming locations. It is fun to remember the scenes.

The Alcázar of Seville is a real gem, one of the most beautiful palaces I have ever visited. Right from the entrance, you are struck by the richness of the details, especially the azulejos and the carved ceilings. The gardens are just as impressive, with their fountains and palm trees. It is a truly peaceful place, and one you should not miss if you are heading to Andalusia.

A magical place! You can't miss it if you are in Granada. The Alhambra is a site of great architectural and artistic richness. I felt like I was in a One Thousand and One Nights fairytale. I didn't know much about Islamic art, and it was a real discovery for me. I loved the fortress and the Nasrid Palaces. Remember to book your ticket several weeks in advance and pay attention to the tour options to make sure you have access to the entire site (gardens and Nasrid Palaces included).

For me, this is the must-see spot in Toledo. The architecture of the monument is sublime. I really loved the courtyard, which is sumptuous, and the patio. For just a few euros, it is possible to see the palace, the gardens, and the fascinating Army Museum, which houses a rich collection. Plus, the Alcazar offers some beautiful views of the city. I recommend setting aside two hours to enjoy the place.

Visiting this historic symbol of Barcelona was a bit of a letdown for me. There is not much to see inside, and if you have to pay, I suggest you save your money. Take advantage of the free entry times, especially on Sundays, if you want to check it out. Only the lovely views of the city and the port of Barcelona are worth the trip. For me, it is skippable.

From the moment you enter, you can admire the superb arabesques and calligraphy on the walls and ceilings. The famous Court of the Lions (which you have surely already seen in photos) is even more beautiful in person. The Generalife gardens offer a superb view of Granada and a very pleasant walk.

Rub your eyes hard before you go because there is so much beauty per square foot! Patios, gardens, symmetrical patterns, decorations as delicate as lace... everything there is elegance and refinement. An oasis of calm and beauty in the center of Seville.

This former royal palace includes a collection of buildings, plazas, and gardens. I was surprised by the typical Mudejar architecture. Special mention for the rooms in the Palacio del Rey Don Pedro, which open up onto beautiful patios. Finally, the highlight of the show, the gardens where fountains, orange trees, and huge palm trees all come together... If you can, book in advance!

If there is one site you have to see in Granada, it is this one. You have to admit that it is truly magnificent. It is a complex of palaces and gardens that are all very well preserved. There is a huge amount to see, and everything is detailed and richly decorated. Just a heads up, there are always a lot of people.
