Visiting Aqualand Fréjus
The beaches of the French Riviera have some competition
The beach is fine, but a beach setting combined with pools, water jets, whirlpools, and endless slides is better. That is the experience awaiting you at Aqualand Fréjus, the largest water park on the French Riviera, located between Sainte-Maxime, Cannes, and Nice in the Var department.
19 attractions categorized by intensity
You will find 19 attractions spread across 17 acres of lush landscaping. These rides are organized into three levels based on difficulty and intensity, similar to a ski resort: blue (accessible to everyone), red (for a thrill), and black (for the most daring and experienced riders).
The blue level is ideal for children, featuring gentle attractions scaled to their size, such as wading pools, a wave pool, and mini-slides.
The slides are the real stars
The red and black levels consist largely of slides with varying designs. You can ride them solo, in pairs, or in groups of four, using either mats or inner tubes.
King Cobra, one of the best in Europe
If you are looking for the park's top-tier rides, the King Cobra was named the best attraction in Europe in 2013, 2014, and 2016. Expect to zip through a giant cobra tunnel that catapults you into a nearly 26-foot drop at a 50-degree angle.
Black Hole and Vertigo
Other notable slides include the Black Hole, where you descend in total darkness, and the Vertigo, which takes you on a high-speed plunge on a four-person raft. These are just a few examples from the extensive list of slides that define the experience at this park.
A full range of amenities
To ensure a relaxing visit, Aqualand Fréjus offers a wide range of services to keep things stress-free. You will find relaxation areas with lounge chairs, picnic spots, restaurants, a gift shop, paid parking, free lockers, the Fast Pass, and Aqua Money, which is a payment wristband used for onsite purchases.
