There are some really pretty viewpoints to kill two birds with one stone, seeing the sign AND getting a nice panorama of the city. Lake Hollywood Park is nice, but the Griffith Observatory is great too! Expect some beautiful photos! If you are passing through Hollywood, do not miss a tour of one of the studios (Warner Bros, Universal, or Paramount, for example), it was honestly my favorite activity!
