More about Puy du Fou

How to get to Puy du Fou

The famous Vendée theme park is located in the commune of Les Epesses, about 45 miles (70 km) southeast of Nantes. Think of it like a destination attraction a bit further out from a major hub, similar to the distance between downtown Orlando and the more remote outskirts of the area.

Several access options are available:

  • By car, take the A87 motorway connecting Angers and La Roche-sur-Yon, and take exit N°28.
  • By train, with connections from the stations in Nantes, Angers, and Cholet.
  • Shuttles are organized by Puy du Fou from the Angers St Laud TGV station to the park entrance. This service requires payment and must be booked in advance. Expect to pay about 30 EUR ($33) round-trip per passenger, with a travel time of 1 hour and 30 minutes each way.
  • By plane, arriving at Nantes Atlantique Airport.
