direct access without walking on a single road
The Futuroscope operates 3 hotels itself, and they are the only ones where you can walk straight to the entrance without crossing a major road. The 4-star Station Cosmos sits right at the main gate. ÉcoLodgee lines up wooden cabins around a pond. Hôtel du Futuroscope opens directly onto the park via a pedestrian footbridge reserved for guests. All 3 are sold primarily as vacation packages that include park tickets, priced per adult, so you cannot easily compare them to a standard room-only rate. The Aquascope water park is 300 metres away.
No air conditioning, just a fan for the room. During a heat wave, and those are becoming more frequent, that is not enough.

The property notes its rooms do not have AC, and our member Celine confirmed this during a heatwave. The building sits in the neighboring town of Jaunay-Marigny.

West of the entrance lies Le Téléport, the business and tech park home to schools and corporate headquarters, including several hotel groups. Nine hotels here range from 1 to 4 stars, and the park lists all of them as reachable on foot in under 10 minutes. Hotel pools, meeting rooms, and restaurants cluster here. Our members have written 18 reviews on hotels in the town, with 13 focusing on this area. One of them, Kat, sums up the Campanile this way: "Not the closest to Futuroscope (though the park is still walkable), and pretty far from downtown Poitiers."
Clean, relatively spacious rooms with good amenities. For food or downtime on site, you have what you need between the restaurant, the bar, the pool table, and the fitness room.

Southeast of the entrance, allée de la Détente and avenue des Temps Modernes bring together the town's most budget-friendly addresses, featuring two B&B hotels, a Première Classe, and a Kyriad Direct, all rated 1 or 2 stars. The gare du Futuroscope anchors the eastern edge of this area, and the park provides direct access from the platforms via a pedestrian footbridge, open according to train schedules. From the closest of the four, the park entrance sits at 550 metres. From the furthest, it measures 1,100 metres.
The rooms and breakfasts are nothing special. Still, it is one of the cheapest hotels around.

The old village center starts 2 kilometres south of the park, and it is the only part that still feels like a village. It is home to the Clos de la Ribaudière, a 19th-century mansion turned hotel, and the municipal campground des Écluzelles. 900 metres to the west, the Portes du Futur business park lines up three chain hotels along the old highway, close to exit 28 of the A10. A spot for anyone arriving late by car and leaving early.

The park even sells rooms there itself, as four city hotels feature on its own stay list. You sleep in a medieval center there, with restaurants independent of any hotel. That comfort comes at the cost of a commute each morning.

Our tips for booking the right place
- Check the calendar before booking the hotel: The real catch here is completely invisible on booking engines. The park shuts down in the dead of winter, specifically January 5 to February 6 in 2026, and January 4 to 31 in 2027. More importantly, it is not open every day during the rest of the year. In November 2026, the park welcomes visitors on only 9 out of 30 days, exclusively on Saturdays and Sundays. In December, it opens weekends until the 20th, then runs daily through the 31st. In September, it closes on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays starting on the 14th. The exact same pattern applies to 2024 and 2025, so this is simply how the schedule works. Check the dates on the official calendar before booking your room, and never the other way around.
- Taking the train straight to the footbridge: The Futuroscope station sits right within the municipal limits, and the park promotes direct access from the platforms via a pedestrian footbridge that opens according to train schedules. The park's website also highlights standard weekend train service between Paris and Bordeaux. Meanwhile, the Poitiers station is 20 minutes away by taxi, city bus, or TER regional train connecting directly to the Futuroscope station. By car, exit 28 on the A10 is named after the park, the main parking entrance is located on avenue René Monory, and parking costs 13 EUR for the day. That rate drops to 8 EUR if you arrive after 2:00 PM. The Poitiers-Biard airport is 15 minutes away by taxi.
- A per-adult rate that includes admission tickets: The park sells overnight stays exclusively as hotel and ticket packages, meaning the advertised price is per adult rather than per room. Otherwise, Poitiers is just 20 minutes away. A third option is available and works even on days when the park is closed: the Arena Futuroscope, the concert and sports venue located on avenue du Futuroscope in town.
- Booking your room before checking the calendar. A night just 200 metres from the entrance does you no good on a Tuesday in November, when the park stays closed from Monday through Friday. The Aquascope water park closes on even more days than the main park, and some rides shut down entirely for the winter. A community member, On Side Roads, visited in early April and noted that not all rides and shows were open yet.
- Counting on the town for dinner, grocery shopping, or a half-day outing. Chasseneuil-du-Poitou has 4,743 residents and 2,102 classified hotel rooms, and JulietteB, the only member in our community to leave a review specifically about the town, suggests keeping moving if you are outside the park. For dinner, your choices are the hotel restaurants in Téléport, the village center, and Poitiers.
- Booking under a brand name without verifying the address. The hotel at 14 rue du Commerce now goes by Akena Poitiers Futuroscope, while the official directory of classified accommodations still lists it as The Originals Boutique Hôtel Beauséjour, and the business registry calls it Quality Hotel Alisée. Three names for one building. The official registry, the business filings, and the hotel website might all use different brand names for the exact same physical spot.
