Marine Conservation Philippines

Marine Conservation Philippines (MCP) is a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting and restoring marine ecosystems while supporting coastal communities. Based in Negros Oriental, Philippines, we work in partnership with local governments, schools, and community groups to improve the management of coral reefs, mangroves, and marine protected areas.

Our programs combine scientific research, environmental education, capacity building, and community engagement. We conduct underwater biodiversity surveys, train local stakeholders in marine conservation techniques, support marine protected area management, and deliver environmental education programs for youth.

Since 2015, MCP has welcomed volunteers, students, and researchers from around the world, enabling them to contribute directly to meaningful conservation projects. Our goal is to create lasting, science-based conservation outcomes that benefit both marine biodiversity and the communities that depend on healthy oceans.
