I am not a big car enthusiast, or even one at all. I went there on a rainy day, basically to check out an exhibit on motorcycles and cinema. I ended up spending the whole afternoon there. A very pleasant surprise. Discovering the evolution of a means of transport, the automobile, which revolutionized the entire world, was particularly interesting. Organized by theme and universe, subjects like sports and transportation are covered. Some cars are true works of art. Do not hesitate, even if the automotive world does not excite you like it didn't excite me!

Located in the beautiful setting of an old convent, this very rich museum is not to be missed if you visit Colmar. It houses the famous Isenheim Altarpiece, but also an impressive collection of paintings and sculptures from the Middle Ages to the Renaissance, decorative art objects, and even a few Monets and Picassos that I had never seen before. Unfortunately, because the signage is not clear, you get a little lost in the succession of rooms.

Located in a pretty, old half-timbered house, this small museum highlights the Alsatian way of life. Furniture, clothing, and handcrafted items are mixed together to immerse us in the daily lives of families. I really liked this immersion into the Franco-German folklore. I finished the tour in an hour and left with a better understanding of Alsatian domestic and societal life. The museum is not a must-see, but I recommend it for its typical setting and its unique collections in the city.

An awesome museum, full of surprises, activities, and costumes to try on... I loved it! If you get the chance, go during the evening events organized by the city of Strasbourg, where young guides will show you around with a great attitude and real expertise.

Right in the heart of Strasbourg, this little museum (judging from the outside, because it is actually huge!) is absolutely charming. It offers quality exhibits with games for kids and fun facts about Alsace. I really loved it!

This museum, right next to the cathedral in the Palais des Rohan, contains some magnificent works, including pieces by Giotto, Lorenzo Lotto, Rubens, Tintoretto, and even Goya. Whether you are an art lover or just curious, you should go. The prices are really very reasonable, and you can combine your visit with the Decorative Arts Museum or the Archaeological Museum.
