The origins of the Science Center
The Maryland Science Center opened its doors in 1976, evolving from a modest observatory and planetarium into a major educational institution. As for the exhibits, you can really find everything, astronomy, biology, physics, chemistry... there is something for everyone.
Most of the exhibits are interactive too, so it does not have that boring side you might imagine.
