Des voyages sur mesure déclinables à l’infini…

Terres Lointaines, un nom qui fait voyager à sa simple évocation, ce qui est d’ailleurs la mission première de ce tour-opérateur français créé en 2010 par William Reynaert : faire voyager ses clients vers près de 50 destinations à travers le monde, moyennant un voyage confectionné sur mesure et au prix le plus juste.

Pour ce faire, un site Internet sans prétention et « sans chichi » avec à l’affiche 4 onglets : « nos destinations », « vos inspirations », « avec qui voyager ? » et « informations ».

Nos destinations

Dans cet onglet, le voyageur se voit notamment proposer un large choix de destinations parmi les 5 continents du globe avec, pour chacune d’entre elle, un petit mémo récapitulatif dans lequel figurent des informations pratiques sur le pays choisi (formalités, vaccins, spécialités, monnaie, population…), les incontournables de la région, la période la plus propice pour partir, la carte du pays en question, sa devise, ainsi que des références culturelles (films, livres…) des quelles d’imprégner avant de s’envoler.

Vos inspirations

S’envoler, oui, mais pas de n’importe quelle façon ! Dans cette section, il est notamment demandé au client de choisir parmi 7 catégories (authentique, culturelle, détente, insolite, nature, road trip et safari) pour coller au plus près de ses attentes et lui façonner un voyage qui lui corresponde parfaitement.

Avec qui voyager ?

Mais un dernier détail reste alors à élucider : « avec qui voyager ? » comme le requiert l’onglet du même nom et à quoi le client devra répondre en choisissant parmi 4 options (partir à deux, en famille, en petit groupe (12 personnes maximum) ou entre amis).

Decent agency

I think this agency, Terres Lointaines, is decent. William, who works there, was previously a travel planner at KUONI. I am going on a private trip in May with them. For now, everything is fine, including their availability, handling of special requests, etc. Best regards. PS: This agency was recommended to me by my doctor, who is a big traveler. I confirm! We went to India this winter with Terres Lointaines, and it was unforgettable... The hotels suggested were excellent, the organization was perfect, and our guides and driver were very professional... Not a single false note! Before our departure, we were also very well informed, and they answered our questions with enthusiasm. Lorkal is right, we were told that William was a product manager at Kuoni previously. For info, we didn't know this tour operator at the start. They seemed serious to us and their rates were very competitive, so we didn't hesitate to go with them, which we don't regret! Best regards. Vietnam with the family

Hello,

We are a family of five just back from a superb trip to Vietnam, organized as a custom tour by Terres Lointaines. We were thrilled with our trip. That goes for both the time on the ground and the prep work beforehand, where we found them incredibly attentive and willing to adapt to our needs. There was always someone available to answer our questions. We mostly dealt with Henri, who was very professional, fast, and efficient, especially since two of us joined the trip mid-way through. In short, we were won over by this travel agency and recommend them to anyone wanting a custom experience so you can see as much as possible in a minimum amount of time. Vietnam and Cambodia combo

Hello, what more can I say than what LORKAL wrote in their last post, as it sums up everything I could possibly say about this agency! I did the 17-day Vietnam-Cambodia trip from the end of April through May 1st and this trip was extraordinary! My husband and I were a bit hesitant at first to go through an online agency, but we have absolutely no regrets, this agency is 200% reliable. We were actually 10 times better taken care of than with a national agency near our home when we went on our honeymoon to Peru, and for almost the same price.

The hotels were all very high quality, we had great, very competent and friendly guides, the drivers were the same, the domestic flights, in short, everything that LORKAL and overall all the members of this discussion say!

As for the organization, our contact Henri was always very responsive, always answered our questions very, very quickly, even for a request made by email when we were already there! He was awesome, just like the rest of the agency (including the people we dealt with when Henri was away, William, Angélique...).

You can head out with total peace of mind with Terres Lointaines, a superb agency.

As for the destination, Vietnam and the temples of Angkor were MAGICAL! Indeed, the Vietnamese people are of absolute kindness and humility. If you are hesitating between several countries and Vietnam is one of them, choose this destination, you will not regret it.

So in conclusion, Terres Lointaines is a superb agency that I recommend.

Trip to Indonesia

Hello,

We just got back from a 23-day trip to Indonesia that was organized for us by the agency Terres Lointaines. Thanks to their perfect organization, we were able to enjoy exploring several islands without a single worry, accompanied by various guides and drivers who were all very competent and spoke good French. All of our requests were respected, we stayed in very decent hotels, and we used different modes of transport without any problems and always with flawless coordination.

We came back thrilled with this trip and can only thank Terres Lointaines for their expertise and for listening to us at every moment while preparing our trip. We highly recommend this agency to anyone who wants to enjoy discovering a new country with peace of mind.

17 days in Rajasthan

We just got back from 17 days in Rajasthan with Terres Lointaines, and honestly, we had zero issues. In fact, it was the opposite. This is a very professional agency, both over email or phone and while on vacation. We requested a custom trip with a driver and French-speaking guides. The hotel rooms they booked were top-notch (maharaja palaces or forts) and the pace of the tour was pleasant. We were contacted regularly by mobile phone to make sure everything was going well. We are thrilled with our vacation and Terres Lointaines is really great. So, if you are still hesitating before trusting them with your vacation plans, go for it and you will not regret it.

Back from Vietnam

We just got back from Vietnam. I recommend Terres Lointaines to anyone looking to travel. We were a group of 8, and the organization and communication were perfect from registration all the way to our return. On site, the hotels were high-end, the restaurants were just as good, and the French-speaking guides were perfect. They helped us discover Vietnam in depth, off the beaten path. Awesome trip to India

Hello, I just got back from a 17-day trip to Northern India with Terres Lointaines. It was a great trip with a French-speaking guide and a private driver. The organization was top-notch with no downtime. The only downside was the car, which was a bit small because we had two large suitcases plus a backpack, and we were forced to keep them with us inside the car. The hotels were top-notch and the food was extra. I highly recommend Terres Lointaines and especially their Indian agency LPTI.
