The global leader in sightseeing passes

Getting the most out of a trip is a universal goal, and some companies have turned that into a science. Take Go City, an online operator founded in 1999 with the idea of helping travelers explore destinations differently. They offer sightseeing passes designed to let you experience the best of a city within a set timeframe while saving money on admission fees.

Available in 30 destinations across the globe and partnering with over 1500 attractions and experiences, Go City is the leading multi-activity pass brand with a 4.7 out of 5 rating on Trustpilot.

While the company started with just one product, their portfolio now includes around 30 different passes, a family that features The New York Pass, The London Pass, and GoCity.com.

Scan, visit, and save

Every Go City pass is 100% digital and stays right on your smartphone, so you never have to worry about losing a paper ticket.

The process is straightforward and works in three steps. Select your destination, choose the pass that best fits your travel plans and interests, and download the Go City app to your phone. From there, you simply scan your pass at the entrance of each attraction.

The variety of activities is extensive. Each pass grants access to a high number of tourist attractions, tours, and experiences, ranging from the classics to more unique finds, including museums, observation decks, cruises, guided tours, and shows.

You pay a single upfront price, which can lead to savings of up to 50% compared to buying individual standard tickets. Once your pass is scanned, you have nothing to pay at the gate, and if your plans change, any non-activated pass is refundable for up to 90 days after purchase.

Budget-friendly in big cities

This app is interesting for visiting big cities. I used it in New York City, for example, and I was entitled to three outings for a very good price: Empire State Building, The Edge, and Ellis Island / Statue of Liberty.
The only thing is that I found it tedious to use. Once the Go City Pass is activated, you have to book the monuments one by one, while keeping their hours, availability, etc. in mind, and it is not super intuitive.
