Our story
Sail the Nile was founded by Captain Mohammed Morsy of Luxor and Johanna Marius of Munich, a German/Egyptian dream team with a shared love of the Nile and of sailing. Based in Luxor, they operate the dahabiyas ABUNDANCE and MINYA, offering guests a chance to experience the beauty of Upper Egypt in an intimate, unhurried, and authentic way.
Our offer
Guests can choose between two classic sailing ships, ABUNDANCE and MINYA, cruising the stretch of river between Luxor and Aswan. We offer a 5-day/4-night sail from Esna (Luxor) to Aswan, departing Mondays, and a 4-day/3-night sail from Aswan to Esna (Luxor), departing on Fridays, each stopping at quieter archaeological sites, riverside villages, and scenic countryside along the way.
