ASI has been working in the Republic of Congo since 2006, running a program focused on supporting young girls living on the streets or in vulnerable situations in Brazzaville, and in Pointe-Noire since 2012. The goal is to help improve the socioeconomic conditions of these young women in both cities. The program has demonstrated real results through an innovative methodology built around a complete support cycle, ranging from outreach on the streets all the way through to social and professional reintegration. The organization also runs a street children prevention program in Brazzaville, targeting girls and boys between the ages of 6 and 15 who are living in situations of severe social and economic vulnerability. Without ASI's support, these children would be out of school and living on the streets.
