While its cruise-ship architecture might catch you off guard, this property in the Basque Country offers a land-based voyage of its own. It features a stunning ocean view and a clear look at the Biarritz lighthouse, located just 800 meters away. This place functions much more like a resort than a standard seaside hotel.
It is a solid pick for those who prefer a structured, activity-filled vacation, especially if you are traveling with young children.
There is plenty to keep you busy at the Chambre d'Amour. Between fitness classes, water aerobics, the beach right at the resort, 2 saltwater pools, multisport court, bocce ball court, live entertainment, and more, boredom is not an option. Parents can also take advantage of the 3 kids clubs (for ages 3 months to 17 years) to keep children of all ages occupied.
All that activity requires fuel. The resort features an ocean-view restaurant offering a massive breakfast and half-board or full-board packages. A snack menu is also available at the beach bar, which has been fully renovated and is easily one of the best spots in Biarritz to grab a drink with your toes in the sand.
When it is time to recharge, you can fall asleep to the sound of the waves from one of the 210 apartments. These units come with 1 to 3 fully equipped bedrooms (flat-screen TV, mini-fridge, safe, WiFi, towels, free baby kit) and can accommodate anywhere from 1 to 6 guests.

The residence is located in a really beautiful area on the southwest coast. It is right by the beach, a bit away from the busy main roads of the city, without being too far from amenities either. Where things could improve is the service:

- Less waiting at meals
- The same selection of dishes for those who arrive first as for those who arrive last (after all, we paid the same price)
