More than just a grocery store, a travel agency

When you hear the name Carrefour, you think of grocery shopping and weekly errands. But the brand also offers a gateway to travel and leisure through Carrefour Voyages, the network of travel agencies in France operated by the Carrefour group.

Founded in November 1990, this subsidiary of the retail giant was built to consolidate daily shopping and vacation planning into one stop. It is no surprise that 160 Carrefour Voyages agencies have gradually opened within the shopping malls of the Carrefour group across every region in France.

Endless travel options at the best price

Each location offers a full range of tourism services to suit any preference. From basic flight tickets or hotel rooms to vacations in France and abroad, Carrefour Voyages provides package tours, theme parks, road trips, camping stays, and weekend getaways, not to mention ski trips, cruises, and vacation rentals.

You can find these offers in-person at an agency or on the company website, which launched in April 2007. While the site can feel like a massive directory of travel options, it remains intuitive and well-structured to help you find exactly what you need.

The benefits of large-scale retail

If you are looking for the best price, Carrefour Voyages is a reliable choice. Being part of the Carrefour name means having the support of an extensive network of professionals and agencies, which translates to lower-cost vacations and deals of all kinds for the customer.

Another advantage of the Carrefour brand is the ability for consumers to earn loyalty points on their store card with every purchase. These points can then be used throughout the Carrefour Voyages network to fund part or all of your trip.

Regarding financing, the company also offers payment plans, allowing you to pay for your vacation in 3, 4, 6, or 10 installments. There is no longer any excuse to stay home.

Some deals can be worth it

I was a bit apprehensive before booking on this site, but I found an all-inclusive trip to the Canary Islands at a rock-bottom price, and everything went exactly as advertised. No bad surprises. Definitely one to watch :)

My bookings aren't being tracked or are wrong

Hello, I am very annoyed. I booked 2 hotels in Crete on the Carrefour Voyages website. I sent an email to the first hotel to tell them our arrival time, and they told me there was no reservation under our name. I immediately contacted the second hotel, and it gets even better. I had booked the Miramare Hotel **** in Agios Nikolaos (which is written on my order confirmation), and they actually booked me at the Miramare in Hersonissos (50 km away from the one I booked), and on top of that, it is a 2-star hotel. I immediately called Carrefour Voyages, and all they could tell me was that they were forwarding the file and that I would get an email response within 48 hours. It has been 15 days and still nothing. I have sent 2 registered letters, one for each hotel. It is a good thing I noticed this before leaving on August 18. I am so disgusted!!!!!!!! I will never book with Carrefour Voyages again.

Lost day due to strikes, no refund

Hello, I am also very disappointed with Carrefour Voyages. Last April, we were supposed to leave for Mauritius for 9 days. Air traffic controller strike: one day lost... When we reached them by phone, they told us we would be compensated, but we got nothing at all: neither from the airline Air France, nor from Carrefour. Fees for a cancellation requested 1 year in advance

My wife and I wanted to go to Crete for the fall break and take advantage of some last-minute deals. On the Carrefour Voyages website, I searched by entering the departure month and date for a one-week trip. I found a list of options. Finding a very interesting product, I went ahead and confirmed the booking order.

Unfortunately for us, I made two mistakes. I typed my email address incorrectly and I didn't pay attention to the year of the booking. I realized my mistake the next day when looking at the copy of my order that I had printed out (I want to clarify it was an order and not a firm booking). Sure enough, Carrefour Voyages had offered me a rate for October of the following year!

I contacted them to ask them to cancel my booking order (since I hadn't received a confirmation by email or phone). Instead of a cancellation, they confirmed my booking and informed me that in the event of a cancellation (which I had to confirm before 5 p.m.), I would have to pay a 113 euro penalty (10% of the total amount).

I will let you imagine my reaction... for a trip that Carrefour Voyages is unable to guarantee more than a year out, both in terms of flights and accommodations. This was the first and last time I will use Carrefour's services. In 30 years of travel experience, I have never experienced this kind of situation.
