Press release

Avygeo helps travellers decide where to go and what to do on their trip. Those who share their stories, photos and videos earn donations for the charities of their choice, without paying anything. A model we have seen nowhere else, now available in six languages.
What Avygeo is
Avygeo helps travellers decide where to go and what to do on their trip, through its editorial guides and the experiences shared by other travellers.
The guides present destinations and must-do activities; members tell what they experienced there, through articles, reviews, photos and videos. The site is free and welcomes over 150,000 visits per month.
What sets it apart
On Avygeo, a member who publishes travel articles, photos and videos gains more than visibility: they earn donations for the charities of their choice. They pay nothing; Avygeo pays the donations. We have seen this model nowhere else.
Among our partner charities, the ones that will receive donations thanks to their posts.
Articles, reviews, photos, videos… They share what they saw and experienced while travelling.
Every like, every comment, every new follower earns them points.
The points collected by the member are shared among the charities they sponsor.
At the end of the year, Avygeo distributes the donation fund to the charities, in proportion to the points they earned through their sponsors.
The more points the charities accumulate, the bigger the overall donation fund grows!
An innovation going international
The interface, the guides and even members' posts are now translated into six languages. A traveller from Madrid or Amsterdam reads the guides in their language, publishes in their language, and what they publish is read by everyone else.
What it changes
Until now, only French speakers could publish and earn donations. From now on, any traveller who reads one of these six languages can contribute, be read, and reward the charities they have chosen. That is what opens new markets to Avygeo.
Handicap International leads
Number of sponsoring members per charity. In total, 604 members sponsor at least one charity.
A virtuous circle
Avygeo takes nothing from its members or from the charities, whose application is free. The model is a loop.
Those who bring quality content, articles, photos, reviews, videos, earn donations for the charities they sponsor.
Real experiences, useful to anyone planning a trip: that is what brings over 150,000 visits per month.
And that revenue feeds the fund paid out to charities. The loop starts again.
and the loop starts again
We did not invent giving; we took the bank card out of the gesture. Publishing content creates value for everyone: for the member, who gains recognition; for readers, who get the precious accounts of other travellers; for Avygeo, of course; and for the charities, which work for sustainable development and living together.
