I just got back from a trip to Essaouira, Morocco, at the Riad Mogador hotel, a 4-star property. I would advise against it because, despite a setting that seems ideal, the service is deplorable (except for a nice restaurant server). To top it all off, the (very basic) breakfast buffet inside is visited by 4 or 5 sparrows that come to peck at the bread, cheese, etc., which you do not want to eat along with the droppings you also find on the chairs. It is up to you :-(
2 circuits organized by PROMOVACANCES: in THAILAND: super, no issues with the trips operated by scheduled flights (TK for this trip). Well-planned circuit from South to North. A small downside: too many Buddha visits. We had a very good guide, and the hotels were of good quality. In the AMERICAN GREAT WEST: trip operated by AF, SUPER! Very dense 14-day circuit but so divine! We took all the extras (Grand Canyon flight, Lake Powell, San Francisco Bay by boat, Universal Studios), nothing but happiness! I recommend it loud and clear! Great stay as a couple, very well-kept hotel, professional entertainment team, and diverse food options. The outdoor areas were top notch. The only small downside was the lack of French spoken. I had a pleasant week, definitely see the island of Lanzarote. Review imported on 11/04/2020 from our old site Voyage-Net.com
Ten of us friends went to the Hotel Sidi-Mansour in Djerba in March. Very beautiful hotel, warm welcome from the staff, good food. The excursions and trips available in the south of Tunisia are high quality. Very happy with our stay, hotel is recommended. Review imported on 11/04/2020 from our old site Voyage-Net.com
:) Two tours completed with PROMOVACANCES:
- In VIETNAM, the organization was impeccable, the guides were competent and friendly, the timing was good, the accommodations and food were decent, the travel by minibus (6 people) was very pleasant, and the flights were problem-free (Cathay Pacific). Unforgettable memories from a country that is a must-see.
- In SOUTH AFRICA, a very beautiful tour where you absolutely must add the suggested options (the total price remains competitive). The north-to-south route was well-planned, the accommodations were of a good standard, the food was a bit repetitive, the French-speaking guides were available and professional, and the bus transportation was high-quality with reliable flights (British Airlines). However, for it to be a top-tier trip, it was missing two extra days (the safaris in particular were too short).
In summary, two trips with a very good price-to-quality ratio. Recommended for those who enjoy discovery tours. Review imported on 11/04/2020 from our old site Voyage-Net.com
Hi, We just got back from a trip to CRETE, at the MAXI CLUB Sunshine Beach and Village in IERAPETRA on an all-inclusive package. (100 km from HERAKLION). Everything was perfect: booking on Promovacances, the trip, the support from the local rep (Christine), the food at the HOTEL, the very spacious room with a terrace and a view of the pool and the sea (bathroom a bit dated but very clean), the staff who were very pleasant, and the MAXI-CLUB activity team who were super nice and super cool. We had a great time (if you get bored, it is because you want to). The all-inclusive is a real all-inclusive, nothing to pay extra for at the hotel. The excursions are a bit expensive but there are some that you should not miss. If all Promovacances maxi-clubs are the same, we will definitely go back. EVERYTHING WAS AWESOME - WE HAD A SUPER WEEK. Moustache and his wife (couple over 50). Review imported on 11/04/2020 from our old site Voyage-Net.com
We went to Crete (Heraklion) with PROMOVACANCES at the THEMIS BEACH 3* hotel. Everything went very well, perfect value for money. Excellent support on-site by PROMOVACANCES. It is likely we will travel with them again. Review imported on 11/04/2020 from our old site Voyage-Net.com
Hello, I used Promovacances to book an all-inclusive trip to Corfu. First of all, as someone who uses this site often, I have to admit I was a bit apprehensive about this choice given the many bad reviews. Nevertheless, I have to admit that for what we were looking for in our vacation, Promovacances offered the best prices.
In the end, I am quite satisfied with the agency's services:
When you book online, a deposit of about 30% is charged to your credit card. The balance is charged later, a bit before departure. You do receive a confirmation email that warns you to check your credit card payment limits so you do not get blocked during the final payment. Well, I messed up and the balance payment was declined because I hit my limit. After a few calls to the bank and then the Promovacances customer service team, everything was sorted out very quickly.
Just as promised, we received our flight details about a week before departure. Since we were taking off very early in the morning, we had to plan how to get to CDG around 5:30 AM. I looked into Uber, taxi services, and shuttles, and in the end, the shuttle option offered by Promovacances turned out to be the cheapest. So, I booked that shuttle, and everything went very well.
Once we arrived in Corfu, Andy, the local Promovacances representative, gathered all the agency's clients and walked us to our bus. On the way, he gave us some tips on tourism around the island. Later, he visited the hotels to offer excursions. I could not take advantage of them for personal reasons, but it seemed well organized. Likewise, on the return, our bus took us to the airport without any issues.
So, in the end, I get the feeling that Promovacances is a big, well-oiled machine that works pretty well (I think they are the number one online seller of vacation packages in France). Based on other testimonials, however, it seems that things get complicated as soon as you have to deal with special cases that are not covered by their usual procedures. This "weakness," if it is true since I did not experience it personally, would be typical of large organizations.
Review imported on 11/04/2020 from our old site Voyage-Net.com
Hi, I went to Sun Garden Hammamet through Promovacances. The Promovacances team was ultra competent and very professional, and most of all (and I really want to emphasize this) extremely responsive. You can book your vacation without any hesitation.
Once there, the people are wonderful and the feeling of insecurity is nonexistent. No problems at all.
The atmosphere is festive, the activity staff are endearing and very pro. The food is varied and high quality. The place is clean and welcoming. The price for the all-inclusive trip was more than reasonable. In a word: it was magical.
The only small downside: departures from the airport at 6:00 AM spoil the fun of the trip. This is the only point that really needs improvement.
Thanks again to the whole team. Happy vacation.

We just got back from 15 days in Egypt, a Hurghada to Cairo cruise.
Everything was very good except maybe the food, but this isn't France.
We have traveled with Promovacances many times and have never had a problem.

We went to Fuerteventura in March, to the MONICA BEACH hotel on the Costa Calma. Nice 3-star hotel, rooms with a sea view. We booked on the site and were contacted by a sales assistant. Good communication. The Monica Beach is well located near the town center, and the services are decent. The only complaint is that everything is geared toward German tourists, who are there in large numbers. French speakers have to manage with Spanish, English, or German. The staff is friendly and smiling. Review imported on 11/04/2020 from our old site Voyage-Net.com
Hello, I have traveled twice with Promovacances, a catamaran cruise in the Grenadines, and to Punta Cana in January 2013. In addition to the prices being attractive, the services are up to par, and the trips are well organized. This year we were in a super 5-star hotel, perfect room and magnificent gardens, very clean beach. The local Promovacances representatives were very professional, very nice excursions, and the food was varied and good. In short, I came back delighted once again, and will surely choose Promovacances for my next trip. POKAE

Following the cancellation of a flight ticket purchased online more than 6 months ago, I still haven't been able to get my airport taxes back. They represent more than half the cost of the ticket, and they should be refunded by Promovacances and not by the cancellation insurance! Review imported on 11/04/2020 from our old site Voyage-Net.com
